A book of stories that makes you laugh at the antics of the students and yet somehow manages to teach a bit in the process. Some of the stories are wild and improbable, but some could happen. It was a lot of fun to read.

This is a cute book about fifth graders and the troubles that befall them while in class:

Franklin's Caramel Sundae – the class was suppose to bring in a ethnic dish from a country – Franklin brought in his little pet that makes a mess of everything!

Wendy's Wacky Water Slide – in a writing letter class Wendy's letter is so good the principle does what she wants and makes the school a huge amusement park.
Larry and the Stalking Penguin – getting in trouble for not doing his reading – Larry wants to be an actor and fools the whole class into believing that once again he hadn't done his assignment.
Shelly and the Garbanzo Beans – Shelly teaches the class about economy by doing an experiment.
Troy's Brain Sucker – wanting to be a plumber Troy goes around fooling with all the plumbing in the school.

all were comical and quite entertaining. Fun read!

Hilarious

I really enjoyed this book! The stories were all pretty of the wall and fanciful, but that's what made it so great! This is a great book for any budding middle grade reader. I think my mind's ads going to love it.

*I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway. The review is my own, honest and unsolicited.
